Is It Time for School Already?

What an exciting day! Classes have started back up at local institutions and it seems like Waco is running rampant with excited new students and those reuniting with old friends!

As teachers and students settle back into their busy routines, it’s easy to get overwhelmed with all the items on your to-do list. I always find that making time for myself in the midst of my busy day-to-day is crucial if I’m going to keep my sanity! Never underestimate the power of taking an hour long break for coffee with an old friend or finding the time to cook a homemade meal with your family. Not only can such simple actions be therapeutic, but they foster positive interactions and bring more fulfillment than simply crossing items off a check list.

One of the many things I love about The Olive Branch is the atmosphere. With delicious food, lots of open space and a relaxing ambiance, it’s a great location for studying or chatting with friends. Our ample seating ensures that you can find a nice corner to plop down with a book you’re reading and a cup of (254) blend coffee to help you focus!

Our study break baskets also are a fun way to spice up any busy day! Our custom gift baskets are a sweet way to let your favorite student or teacher know that you’re thinking of them, while giving them delicious treats to snack on, too! With basket options ranging from cookies and coffee to bagels and cupcakes, we’ve got a wide selection that is sure to please your favorite academic. Feel free to send inquiries or orders to

With so much going on this fall, we hope you’ll let us be a part of your semester! It seems that studying goes so much better on a full stomach and with a good cup of coffee in hand.
