Aren’t these cooler mornings just the best? I’ve heard rumors that our lows are expected to get into the 40’s, which is such a welcomed break from the non-stop heat! Those 70 degree highs are even feeling a little like fall to this Texas girl. 🙂
In the spirit of fall coming into town (albeit ever-so-slowly), Leah has cooked up a spiced chai recipe for y’all! A good, warm beverage is perfect for enjoying the sunny, cool mornings we’ve got coming our way. Don’t forget to stop by for a bag of one of our coffee blends to enjoy at home, too!
Steep 1 chai teabag in 1/4 cup water and 1/4 cup sugar over medium heat until the sugar dissolves. Add 1 1/2 cups of milk and heat until 165 degrees or until almost boiling. Don’t let it boil.
Stir it constantly with a whisk. Remove teabag and pour into 1 large or 2 small mugs. Sprinkle with pumpkin pie spice and add a cinnamon stick stirrer if you want.
Here’s hoping for more good weather coming our way!
