Candy Cupcakes + Repurposing Halloween Treats

Happy Halloween, y’all! Although I’m not one for dressing up and celebrating a spooky holiday, I am all about candy and sweet treats for all. Rather than giving yourself, or your kiddos for that matter, a stomach ache by eating all that candy, why not take some of those goodies and put them into a especially decadent dessert? There’s no better way to dress up Halloween leftovers than making some candy-themed cupcakes!

Two types of candy that I’ve literally seen fly off the shelves this season are Snickers and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, so I’ll be shocked if you don’t end up with a hefty amount of these chocolaty treats. Today’s tasty suggestions play off these popular goodies and will be sure to have you coming back for seconds or thirds.

These scrumptious Snickers cupcakes, courtesy of Annie’s Eats, are chocked full of candy goodness! With a chocolate cake, a Snickers center and a caramel drizzle, you will be a baking star with these little beauties.

Personally, I can’t get enough of Reese’s. I’ve been known to sit down with a bag of the mini cups and eat the entire thing in one sitting! That being said, I simply couldn’t resist suggesting this recipe from My Baking Addiction. With delicate Reese’s crumbles on top, these are a perfectly dignified twist on Halloween candy.
