Bonnie got married!
Some of us from the Olive Branch got to attend Bonnie’s wedding this past weekend. What an honor. (I didn’t even have to work it!)
Getting to know Bonnie as she worked with us this past year will always be one of the biggest blessings in my life. Not only is she a woman of Godly character, but she is creative and fun. Her husband (eek!) is in the Air Force and was stationed in California the whole time Bonnie worked with us. Armon made several visits during that time, though, and they always made an effort to spend time with us. He is a wonderful man and loves Bonnie dearly. He even included us in his proposal scheme!
Bonnie’s wedding was held at an event center in Kyle, Texas. It was a beautiful and serene setting. From the perfectly manicured grounds to the massive white event pergola, the whole affair was very classy and beautifully done. She used multiple shades of whites and soft pinks.
The food was, of course, delicious. We started with a summer salad that had apples, strawberries, and yummy candied pecans. The main course was a grilled chicken breast with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus.
And, in true Bonnie fashion, she offered not only a beautiful wedding cake, but assorted desserts as well. I mean, why limit yourself to just one option on your special day? Calories don’t count!!
All in all, it was a beautiful, moving ceremony and a wonderful party. It was a blessing to be part of her big day. We here at The Olive Branch wish her and Armon all the best!!
