We can’t deny we love good gourmet food and preparing it is one of our favorite parts. But this week, we are putting our knives down to taste something new. One of our very own, Shane Austin, is featured this week for TSTC’s Culinary Arts gourmet luncheon. His menu, A Taste of China, highlights traditional Asian Foods with his own twist. Plates of Velvet Chicken, Dan Dan Noodles, and sweet Pineapple Ginger Ice Cream bring a cultural experience to your taste buds. My mouth is watering just looking at the menu!
Shane has been working in our kitchen since September 2012 to get a feel for what the restaurant business is like. He dreams of opening his own bakery one day and looks to Leah for cooking advice and business suggestions. He is currently studying with Texas State Technical College Culinary Art’s school and will soon move on to get his business degree. This luncheon menu brings him one step closer to becoming a master chef, and we couldn’t be more proud of him!
